Amazo is a highly advanced android and an enemy of the Justice League in the DC Comics universe. Created by mad scientist Professor Ivo, Amazo was built to serve his master's every sinister whim, but he would eventually develop sentience and abandon his creator. His body was made with special absorption cells that allow him to assimilate the powers of metahumans. He has absorbed the abilities of each of the leading members of the Justice League, making him one of their most deadly opponents.
Abilities[]
- Absorption Cells - The synthetic body permits Amazo to replicate the qualities, mainly powers and skills, of any others in his immediate proximity. This effect can be cumulative depending on the iteration of Amazo encountered with each person in his vicinity adding to the pool of abilities he can pull from and the strength of those powers. Some iterations also retain a "default" template based on the powers of the original core members of the Justice League.
- Object Duplication - As a side effect of his ability to replicate powers, in some instances Amazo will replicate the equipment that generated the power such as a Green Lantern's power ring or Wonder Woman's magic lasso.
