The Boing-o-Bot is a type of Badnik that appears in Sonic Chaos. These robots are somewhat similar to Moto Bugs, though there are certain differences. The most obvious difference is a spring on the robot's shell that Sonic can jump on to propel himself up into the air in order to reach higher platforms. The Boing-o-Bot also has no visible engines as the Moto Bug does and travels on two wheels rather than one. Due to the presence of the spring on the robot's back, Sonic cannot defeat this enemy by jumping on it and must use a spin-attack to hit it from its front or backside.
