Defensor is an Autobot Combiner formed from the five Protectobots. While most certainly among the most powerful of Combiners, he uses his immense strength in the defence of others rather than in offensive action against the Decepticons. His body size is matched only by his heart; he is highly compassionate and selfless, willing to put his own life on the line than allow a single human to come to harm. While other Combiners' personalities tend to be unstable due to the differences of their component parts' psyches, Defensor is much more balanced as his components are better synchronized mentally.
Defensor identifies with humans more than he seems to identify with other Cybertronians. He regards humans in the same way a puppy might, though due to his size and tremendous might, most humans do not reciprocate these feelings, much to Defensor's dismay.

Abilities[]
- Strength - As a Combiner, Defensor's strength is incredible. He is capable of lifting over 300,000 pounds single-handed.
- Durability - Defensor's body is near invulnerable, capable of shrugging off most artillery.
- Forcefield - Defensor can shield himself and anything else around him within an impenetrable energy barrier. This barrier is 50 feet wide and can absorb any impact, but requires tremendous amounts of power, so Defensor only uses it sparingly.
- Fireball Cannon - Defensor's primary weapon fires incendiary projectiles of temperatures reaching 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.
