The Cart Kiki is a model of Badnik that appears in Sonic Adventure. It is a Kiki robot that rides around in a hovering bumper car. These enemies are encountered by Sonic in Twinkle Park.
Overview[]
The Cart Kiki is a regular Kiki robot that wears a black racing helmet over its head. It rides around in a hovering bumper car that sports a pair of turbine engines.
When Sonic enters Twinkle Park, the first area he comes to is a bumper car floor overlooking a racetrack. Several Cart Kikis are already on the floor driving their bumper cars around and will attack Sonic on sight by trying to run him over. Sonic can destroy a Cart Kiki with a Homing Attack, after which he is able to jump into the unoccupied bumper car and use it to ride down the racetrack.
Once on the track, Sonic cannot get out of his car and must drive it to the end of the track. Along the track are several Kikis and Cart Kikis which will attack the player. The Cart Kikis will attempt to ram Sonic's car in order to do damage. If Sonic's car is struck in either the front or back by a Cart Kiki, the car will simply be bumped back without the player taking damage. If bumped on the side of the car, however, the player will lose their rings or shield, if they have one. If struck when not carrying any rings, the player's bumper car will explode and a life will be lost.
If Sonic rams a Cart Kiki at high speed, whether on the front or sides, the Cart Kiki will explode.
