Earthrock Trilobyte is one of the eight Maverick bosses from Mega Man X8. A new-generation Reploid created by Lumine, he was tasked with mining rare minerals for use in the Jakob Project. When he became a Maverick, he instigated a rebellion in Metal Valley and gave the extracted minerals to Sigma.
Abilities[]
- Crystal Wall - Trilobyte's primary weapon. He can generate crystal stalagmites and send them siding across the ground to crush his foes. X can copy this weapon.
- Bound Blaster - Trilobyte's secondary weapon fires sonic projectiles that bounce off of surfaces. Axl can obtain this weapon whilst Zero gains the Earth Element enhancement that serves as the basis for this weapon, using it to gain the Rekkyoudan technique. Rekkyoudan allows Zero to reflect enemy projectiles with his Z-Saber.

Earthrock Trilobyte is highly susceptible to gravity-based attacks. Gravity Antonion's weaponry is capable of fracturing and shattering Trilobyte's exoskeleton.
