The Egg Turtle is the first boss of Sonic Rivals on the PSP. This mecha is created and piloted by Eggman Nega (though he is disguised as Dr. Eggman at the time) and battles against Sonic and his friends/rivals at the end of Forest Falls Zone. It attacks by spinning around on a turntable and attempts to hit the players with its head and tail. After spinning for several seconds, it will go into a cooldown period and its head and tail will jut out, giving the players a chance to attack. Striking the head will damage it, but striking the tail will cause the Egg Turtle to slam down on the arena ring and create a shockwave, hurting the other player.
