The Egg Walker is a militartistic Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman. It appears in Sonic Forces.
Overview[]
The Egg Walker is a ground-assault robot modeled on an ostrich. It has a purple body with a black pelvis and long black legs. The legs in particular have red lights where they bend, and the feet each possess two purple toes. In place of wings, the Egg Walker has two four-barreled missile launchers. Finally, it has a long neck (with a red-lit joint) and a black rectangular head that sports red optics and a purple fin on top.
Found in multiple stages, Egg Walkers are generally seen in groups, running down long pathways or standing in a small, open space ready to fire missiles at the player. While quick, they are not nearly fast enough to match Sonic. They can be destroyed with a Homing Attack, though it is easier to destroy groups of them running down a pathway by simply Speed Boosting straight into them.

A Badnik based on the Egg Walker from Sonic Forces appears in the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. It does not share the military aesthetic of any of the Badniks from Sonic Forces, instead resembling a cartoonish version of the animal it is based on.
