Rangers series, the current Ranger team has been able to summon these mecha to help them battle against whatever monster has been sent by the villain to attack the innocent. The Zords have come in a wide variety of different shapes, often based on known animals, extinct species or even mythological creatures. Each Zord has its own abilities but they are also capable of combining with each other to form an even stronger mecha, normally known as the Megazord.
