Ratchet is the chief medical officer for the Autobots. He has an irreverent bedside manner unbefitting for a physician of his talent, but Optimus Prime and the other Autobots know they can depend on him whenever they need their chassis' patched up or key circuits replaced. Though Ratchet takes his job very seriously, when off-duty he can be quite the party animal. He knows how to have a good time, though he has been known to show hesitance to going back to work in the middle of a party.
Although he's a valued medic, Ratchet is often deployed to the frontlines to fight Decepticons, even though his fighting ability is less than that of many of his comrades. However, his never-say-die attitude helps him through many tough situations and injured Autobots always know they're in good hands with Ratchet watching their backs.
Abilities[]
- Mechanical/Medical Skills - Ratchet is fully equipped with a variety of tools to heal his fellow Autobots and to repair damaged equipment. He is also capable of providing medical aid to some non-Cybertronians.
- Alternate Mode - Ratchet transforms into an ambulance.
