The Mark IV Iron Man suit differs little from the Mark III, at least visually. In appearance, it is identical to the Mark III, but without the horned-mask helmet, instead equipped with a riveted helmet which would become standard with most Iron Man suits in the future. Following the commission of the Mark IV, Iron Man would often be referred to by the nickname "Shellhead" by his Avengers teammates.
