The Metal Hound is a type of Badnik that appears in Sonic Rivals. It is not one of Dr. Eggman's creations, but rather a creation of Eggman Nega.
Overview[]
The Metal Hound is a Badnik modelled after a bulldog. It also sports red armour that makes it resemble a truck, adorned with lights and vertical exhaust pipes. It also wears a spiked collar.
Metal Hounds appear exclusively in Death Yard Zone. In gameplay, they patrol their starting areas until the playable character comes within their range and they attack.
