Shrapnel is a member of the Decepticon sub-group, the Insecticons. A creature of blood-chilling sadism, he is recognised for his ability to transform into a stag beetle and the disturbing manner in which he speaks. His voice carries an eerie electronic crackle and he often repeats the last word of a sentence with a buzzing whisper.
Among the Decepticon ranks, Shrapnel's specialty is electronic warfare. He can manipulate electricity with expert finesse, wreaking havoc on Autobots and their machinery.
Abilities[]
- Alt Mode - Shrapnel transforms into a giant mechanical stag beetle.
- Electronic Manipulation - Shrapnel can fire bursts of electricity in excess of 40,000 volts. He can also remotely corrupt and control any electronic device.
- Flight - Shrapnel can fly either in robot mode or insect mode for up to 50 miles.
- Grenade Launcher - Shrapnel's grenade rounds will scatter razor-sharp metal shards upon detonation, tearing anything caught in the blast radius to shreds.
