Snipe Anteator (known as Snipe Ariquick in Japan) is an anteater-based Reploid and a member of Red Alert in Mega Man X7. He appears to be a wise, elderly figure and is supposedly good at reading people.
Abilities[]
- Laser Pods - Small, hovering drones that Snipe Anteator deploys to defend himself. These pods are indestructible and fire laser pulses in random patterns.
- Dead End Kiss - Snipe will lash his tongue out at his opponent and sap some of their health.
- Spiral Claw - Snipe clasps his claws together to unleash an energy wave.
- Soldier Ants - Small, ant-shaped proximity mines. These mines are stationary but have a wide blast radius.
- Sniper Missile - Snipe Anteator launches homing missiles from the cannon on his back. Both X and Axl can copy this weapon while Zero learns the Hieijin technique.
Weaknesses[]
Snipe Anteator is vulnerable to the Moving Wheel and Zankourin weapons gained from Ride Boarski. They don't inflict much damage but they can slow him down and interrupt his attack patterns.
